Water Pumps for Forklift - Attached to the crankshaft of the engine; the water pump is a basic centrifugal pump that is driven by a belt. The pump then circulates fluid when the engine is running.
Utilizing centrifugal force, the water pump sends water to the outside while it spins causing the fluid to be continually drawn from the pumps center. The pump inlet is located close to the center. This particular design allows fluid coming back from the radiator to hit the pump vanes. The pump vanes are strategically positioned to fling the fluid outside of the pump so it goes in the engine.
The fluid which is going out of the pump primarily flows throughout the cylinder head and engine block. The fluid then travels into the radiator and finally circulates back to the pump.
